Property Management Nightmares

What property management nightmares have you experienced? Let us know in our LinkedIn post here.

Toilets and Gravity

Blocked toilets are pretty normal, “run-of-the-mill” experiences for seasoned Property Managers. But what would you do if a toilet fell off the wall?

Our client obviously needed this sorting as soon as possible so our Head of Property Management, Hannah, ensured it was fixed with maximum speed.

What do you think? Does this bring a new meaning to “brown stuff hitting the fan!”?

House Destroying Toasters

Our Director of Operations had similar views about a toaster which quite literally “brought the house down in flames”.

Some dodgy wiring in the plug/socket meant this toaster smouldered insidiously along the internal wiring in multiple locations.

The sad outcome? One less property, alternative accommodation to source, and a multitude of repairs to handle.

Relocating tenants and making insurance claims is all part and parcel of our employees’ experience.

It happens rarely, but would your staff know what to do?

We’re sure you’ve got multiple property tales to tell, though, so please head over to LinkedIn if so.
